Parents as Partners WTPS District Elementary Parent Involvement Night Fall 2019

You are invited to Washington Township Public Schools' Elementary District Parent Involvement Night known as Parents as Partners! Join us to learn more about how to support your child's learning. Each adult must register separately.

Where: Wedgwood Elementary School (Open to ALL elementary school parents)

When: Tuesday, November 19, 2019

Times-

5:45 - 6:30 - Dinner - Complimentary Buffet Style

6:30 - 7:00 - Session #1

7:05 - 7:35 - Session #2

7:40 - 8:10 - Session #3

Complimentary childcare in the in library for children ages 3+ (Our WTHS STARS Club will be making crafts and playing games!

Parents will choose which informational sessions to attend. Each session will take place in a different classroom. The sessions will be filled on a first-come, first serve basis, and each session will have seating for 20-25 participants. If you register in advance, you may reserve your seat in the workshop by selecting your session topic during the registration process. The topics offered for each session include the following titles:

• Phonemic Awareness - Kindergarten
• Sight Words - Kindergarten and Grade 1
• Fine Motor Skills - Kindergarten and Grade 1
• Fundations - Grade 1
• Fundations - Grade 2
• Individualized Daily Reading - (K-2)
• Individualized Daily Reading - (Grades 3-5)
• Wit and Wisdom - Look and Wonder - (Grades 3-5)
• Wit and Wisdom - Socratic Seminar - (Grades 3-5)
• Wit and Wisdom - Close Reading - (Grades 3-5)
• American Reading Company - Specialized Programming -(Grades 3-5)
• Building Better People - Positivity Project and Mindfulness - (Grades K-5)
• First in Math - (Grades 1-5)
• Everyday Math Games - (Grades K-5)
